The general goals of this project are enabling affordable district heating in Visoko, Breza, Ilija\u0161, Vogo\u0161\u0107a and Sarajevo as main consumer of thermal energy. By this way we are reducing environmental pollution, increasing total production, energy efficiency and financial effectiveness of TPP Kakanj through cogeneration and reducing BiH&#8217;s energy dependence on imported energy.
