Sonelgaz is the national electricity and gas company in Algeria, and GRTE (Gestionnaire du Réseau de Transport de l’Electricité) is responsible for electricity transmission throughout the country.
One of the largest turnkey projects – the 400/220kV and 220/60kV El Milia substations was realized in cooperation with Energoinvest.
The goal of this project is to increase the efficiency of the Algerian transmission network in the medium and long term, which will reduce the costs of the system, increase the reliability and flexibility of the network.
Energoinvest as a partner implemented the project with completely reliable and safe delivery through:

- Testing and commissioning of substations
The project is worth about 59.7 million dollars.
